"We not only wanna hills of gold and silver, but also wanna green hills with clear water." The soaring economic and social development of Yiwu is not based on the sacrificing of environment and the interests of future generations. In recent years, Yiwu aims to build an “ecological city” and goes all out to create it. Yiwu invests over RMB 100 million on the construction of large-scaled rural and urban greening per year according to the construction plan. By now, Yiwu has painted an inviting blueprint of “beautiful environment, sound ecological environment, urban and rural harmony”.

“既要金山銀山，又要綠水青山”。我市經濟社會快速發展，但並不以犧牲環境和子孫後代的利益為代價，近年來，我市以建設“生態義烏”為目標，全力以赴開展生態市創建。按照生態市建設規劃，通過大片造綠、拆違填綠、見縫插綠，我市每年投入1億多元，大規模開展城鄉綠化，描繪了一幅“環境優美、生態良好、城鄉和諧”的美好藍圖。
