In the first five months of this year，193 new foreign business branch offices and 36 foreign invested enterprises were newly registered in Yiwu. By the end of May，the total number of foreign business branch offices had reached 1，657，and foreign invested enterprises 588. It is learned that among county-level cities in China，Yiwu ranks No. 1 in the number of foreign business agencies.
Following its establishment for the foreign business registration section， Yiwu Administration of Industry and Commerce has arranged some staff members both well educated and proficient in spoken English onto the registration position and they offer bilingual service for foreign business branch offices and foreign invested enterprises. The bilingual service brings great convenience for foreign business people， who are thereby well informed of China’s relative policies that may help them avoid troubles when going about registration procedure.
