After the long holiday of National Day, the latest statistics of Customs show that from January to September of this year, more than 210,000 customs declaration of Yiwu commodities’ export has been made and nearly 400,000 containers of goods were shipped out, up 26.5% and 28.4% respectively over the same period of last year. The trade of Yiwu market climbed despite grim economic situation this year.
It is introduced that the speed of new products put on sale in Yiwu market this year, which are more value-added, is much faster than former years. Since this year, about 85% of the business stores in the market have new products, boosting market deal day by day. Due to the promotion of product structure and added value, textile exporters gain the power of pricing. The high quality and high value-added shirts displace the cheap and low profit chemical fiber ones among the exporting shirts.
