On July, 26th, Chen Yuan, residing in Jiangdong District, was informed by Chinese Beekeeping Association and Taiwan Insects Association that he was invited to attend the 41th International Beekeeping Conference and the 7th Cross-straits Bees & Bee Products Symposium which were respectively to be held in France in the mid of September and in Taizhong city in the mid of October. In addition, he would respectively submit 5 conference theses and participate in a series of academic exchange activities.
“I was so delighted to have such an honorable opportunity to make academic exchanges with international beekeeping experts and professors.” Over 70 years old, the beekeeper Chen Yuan has nearly 50-year beekeeping experience and, is the permanent member of Zhejiang Apiculture Association. In the first half of last year, he settled the sophisticated world conundrum of vacant nest disease, winning world-wide recognition among beekeeping experts and scholars.
