The staff of Provincial Tourism Bureau led by Xu Peng, the Deputy Director of Provincial Tourism Bureau and Xiao Ge, the Deputy Inspector came to our city recently to learn about work of the organizing committee office of the 2nd China International Tourist Commodities Exhibition. As part of the all-around preparations for the exhibition, they discussed about making and perfecting master plan and preferential policies for inviting businessmen and exhibitors, and determined the exhibition scale and time.
Chen Xiuxian, the Deputy Municipal Party Secretary took part in the work debriefing and arranged the preparatory work.
Before the last Spring Festival, Huang Zhiping, the Municipal Party Secretary and other responsible officers from Provincial Tourism Bureau and Municipal Tourism Administration Bureau had gone to Beijing and given a report on the 2nd Tourist Commodities Exhibition to the National Tourism Administration. The director of National Tourism Administration Shao Qiwei agreed on the holding of the exhibition in June.
At the work debriefing meeting that day, organizing committee heads of this exhibition made clear that the exhibition scale would be the same as the first one, which included 5 museums, 1,500 standard booths in total. The exhibition details will change a little mainly the increasing scale for independent business invitation and the highlighting of market transactions. Apart from the theme museum, the museum for provinces and cities and the museum for Zhejiang, industrial museum will increase to 2 museums from 1 at the first exhibition. Further innovation will be made in the arrangement of theme museums. And the business invitation in hotel products, play equipments, and outdoor leisure products will be increased to highlight the topic of “Ecology, Low Carbon and Environmental Protection”.
Meanwhile, R&D Forums of Tourist Commodities and News Conference for New Products, Tourist Investment Meetings, China Tourist Commodities Megagame, Shopping and Tourist Festival, etc. will be held during the exhibition, which will also provide interaction with Shanghai World Expo so as to make this exhibition more colorful and fruitful.
