The China Yiwu Stationery & Arts Trade Fair (CYSATF), which was just advanced to a state-level exposition, kicked off in the rain yesterday, and the worldwide stationery & arts trade fair not only lured purchasers from 20-plus countries as well as enterprises from 23 provinces (cities, districts) and 14 foreign countries and regions, but also gathered love from the whole world to the quake-hit Yushu. Sponsored by the Secretary of Zhejiang Provincial Committee Zhao Hongzhu, Yiwu City Red Cross Society raised charity money of 50,888 yuan at the opening ceremony site. In the morning yesterday the China Yiwu Stationery & Arts Trade Fair (CYSATF) was held for the fifth straight year. With the tenet “Improve Culture Connotation, and Develop Culture Industry” and the theme “Cultural Products Trade, Culture Innovation & Growth”, the CYSATF totally set up 2000 international standard booths covering six major categories like culture office supplies and arts & crafts. The fair not only lured purchase teams from 7 provinces (such as Qinghai, Guangdong, and Fujian) but also advanced previous International Culture Communication Exhibition Hall to International Culture Products Exhibition & Sales Hall. Meanwhile, craftworks with national characteristics from more than 10 countries like Ukraine, India, South Korea, and Japan were also exhibited at the CYSATF. More importantly, the CYSATF is not only a culture products trade fair, but also a “Love Relay”. At the opening ceremony Yiwu City Red Cross Society’s donation box is full of the “Love” of the entire world. Sponsored by the Secretary of Zhejiang Provincial Committee Zhao Hongzhu, guests at the opening ceremony successively donated money for the quake-hit Yushu, and lots of foreign merchants from Japan and Ukraine etc. also joined in the donation. “One foreign guest had not Renminbi but he still donated money on site through borrowing”, said a worker of Yiwu City Red Cross Society. At the donation site people of different skin colors successively donated their “love”, which was actually a unique “Scene of Beauty” at the CYSATF. “Two ladies from Japan came up and donated when we just fixed the donation box, but they left silently after taking a bow because they cannot speak Chinese”. ” Over the 20 minutes span of the opening ceremony 50,888 yuan of charity funds were raised at the donation site. A worker said: “we do not know where you are from and we also have different languages, but we believe the great love is boundless, and we have seen international friends’ love”. During the CYSATF period, the donation box will be placed in the exhibition hall for the purpose of continuing the love gather. “Charity funds will be remitted to the uniform account and used for Yushu’s reconstruction”.
