On May 3, a delegation headed by Naito Masamitsu, Chairman of General Affairs Committees of House of Councilors of Japan, visited Yiwu to deepen mutual friendly relations and discuss future cooperation.
Accompanied by Yiwu Government leaders Mr. Wu Weirong and Weng Yueqiang, and related department heads, the delegation visited Yiwu International Trade Mart and Neoglory Jewelry. Mr. Naito Masamitsu was impressed by the market’s scale, environment and the degree of modernization and internationalization. In the Imported Commodities Mall, the Japanese guests took close look at the merchandise centers of Brazil, Japan, Vietnam ROK, and others. Mr. Naito Masamitsu asked in detail about the price and sales condition of Japanese commodities in Yiwu market, and said that the cooperation between Japan and Yiwu should be boosted by importing more Japanese goods to Yiwu market and selling them to the whole world.
