Recently, it is learned from the Yiwu Market Trade Development Bureau that the “Directory of Second ChinaTime-honored Brands for Protection and Promotion” (retail and foodstuff category) has been released. Of which, Yiwu City Danxi Brewery Co., Ltd., with registered trademark “Danxi”, was listed in the directory and became Yiwu City’s only “China Time-honored Brand”. On the basis of “Yiwu Red Yeast” that has long history and abundant cultural connotation, Danxi Brewery made unceasing exploration and improvement. From a long term, the company cooperated with many scientific research institutions like Taiwan Alcohol Research Institute, Zhejiang University, and Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Science, so as to improve the brewing technology and jointly develop new products. It also set up the Danxi Read Yeast Wine Brewing Technology Research Center and Danxi Pharmaceutical Organism Development Research Institute, with experts from scientific research institutions (like Institute of Microbiology, CAS and Beijing Union University etc.) being invited to serve as technical counselors. So far, the company has been granted eight national invention patents and eight exterior styling patents during its scientific research and independent design process.
