Grasp the initiative in economic work
Mr. Huang Zhiping, standing member of the Jinhua Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of Yiwu Municipal Party Committee, said if Yiwu's economy wants to have further growth, first of all we should grasp the initiative in economic work.
On one hand, the Central Economic Working Conference has made it clear that this year China’s economy has been recovering safe and sound, next year the Central Government will keep the consistency and stability of the macro-economic policies. Such "soundness and stability" will build a favorable environment next year for Yiwu's economic development. On the other hand, according to the estimation by the Central Government, in next year the global economy will be better than that in this year, but uncertainties that affect overall recovery of the global economy still exist. Yiwu, as an export-oriented economy to a great extent, shall take all unfavorable factors, potential risks and possible challenges worldwide into consideration so as to make full preparation for the coming hardships and challenges and promote Yiwu's economy to a steady growth with an appropriate speed.
Moreover, Huang Zhiping believes that Yiwu should speed up in transforming economical development mode. Now we should make in-depth study on how to strengthen market development strategies, to attract foreign investment and expand export, to enlarge market shares. And we should establish platform and attract projects.
"Five Innovations" promotes urban economic development
Recently, Yiwu Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, with the theme of developing urban economy, sent a delegation to Suzhou, Wuxi, Linyi and Tianjin for visiting and learning from their development in technical innovations, high-tech, advanced manufacturing and modern service sector, industrial upgrading, urban planning and construction and other aspects.
Huang Zhiping raised five enlightenments. He said the key to urban economy growth lies in business mode's innovation and we should gather modern industries and service sectors to achieve optimized allocation of essential factors of production in a wider extent; the key to transforming and upgrading urban economy lies in platform innovation. We should constantly improve series of production service platforms to promote mutual development of manufacturing and producer services; the key to sustaining development of the urban economy lies in the innovation of city management conception. We should make full use of the potential of a city to create this city's development advantage consuming minimum resources or "nothing"; the key to the core competency of the urban economy lies in function innovation. We should attract talents by means of policies more preferential than others, by perfect life and service function and livable environment; the key to rapid development of urban economy lies in city management innovation. We should forge sound administrative service mechanism and cadre team dedicated to serving the people.
Next year we should pay attention to the five keys
Huang Zhiping said, in order to speed up urban economy and achieve fundamental change of the economic development mode, we should pay attention to the five keys:
Firstly, optimize urban development layout, strengthen the industrial support of the urban economy, make city planning with higher standards, constantly improve unique market system of Yiwu and work hard to create industries' gathering place. Secondly, optimize development platform, promote transform and upgrading of the urban economy, speed up expanding construction and integrated upgrading of the developing zone, speeding up producer services and constantly optimize all service platforms. Thirdly, innovate city management conception and promote sustainable development of the urban economy. Fourthly, speed up livable city construction and raise the city's core competitiveness. Lastly, strengthen the efficiency building of the government and forge a cadre team that is responsible, capable and dedicated to the goal.
