Statistics from Hangzhou Customs show the export growth rate of Yiwu commodities in September reached a new high of this year and the daily business volume also hit a historic high in the same month ever since the establishment of Yiwu Customs .
According to statistics，the Customs handled 29，000 export declarations of Yiwu commodities and supervised 54，000 standard containers in September，up 17 percent and 15 . 1 percent respectively year-on-year . Both growth rates reached a new high of this year . On September 29，Yiwu Customs，which is affiliated with Hangzhou Customs，accepted 1，434 export declarations and supervised 2，616 standard containers，setting a new record of daily business volume in the Custom’s history.
With the approaching of western festivals like Halloween and Christmas，another peak of commodities export is coming . Since June this year，the export of Yiwu commodities has been going up for four consecutive months . The Customs has received 215，000 export declarations of commodities in the first three quarters，up 0 . 5 percent year-on-year .
Sources from Hangzhou say in order to improve the efficiency of Customs clearance，the Customs has developed a logistics control system，which can handle a declaration within 10 seconds，and set up a new examining platform which is capable of checking over 40 container trucks .
