In the last few days, the assessment team from Jinhua that aims at checking the situation of new socialist countryside construction, under the lead by the group leader Hu Xinmin, the Municipal Deputy Secretary-General and Municipal Agricultural Office Director of Jinhua City, arrived in our city and inspected the new socialist countryside construction progress. The Municipal Party Deputy Secretary, Chen Xiuxian, and relevant department heads of our city attended the debriefing of the new socialist countryside construction. The Deputy Mayor, Fu Chunming, accompanied the assessment team during the inspection.
During the debriefing, Chen Xiuxian introduced the basic situation of the new socialist countryside construction in our city and the working plan for the next step. According to Chen Xiuxian, during the construction process of the new socialist countryside, our city has made new breakthrough in favorable policies to farmers; our city has achieved new progress in the rural housing reconstruction and village renovation; the rural economy and income of farmers have achieved new growth; new achievements have been made in the social undertakings at countryside as well as in reform and development; the economy and society in rural area have shown a good image of sustained and rapid development.
Hu Xinmin fully affirmed the achievements that our city has accomplished in the new socialist countryside construction. He thought that the new socialist countryside construction practice of Yiwu has achieved prominent accomplishments of five “further steps”, that is, further carries forward rural area reform; further strengthens construction investment in new countryside; further enhances village environment improvement; further increases income of farmers; further develops countryside social undertakings.
After the debriefing, the assessment team went to the Caodao village, Shiqiaotou village and Huangyangmei village in Beiyuan Street and Hesilu village in Chengxi Street for field survey.
