Recently, by negotiating with the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination (BSWEC), Yiwu was granted the “pass” for opening a through bus line between Yiwu and Shanghai with a direct access to the center of Expo. As a result, Yiwu citizens can comfortably visit Shanghai Expo.
It is reported that Shanghai Expo will pose some limitations on non-Shanghai visitors for entering Expo Sites. For example, Non-Shanghai cars and large buses without permit by the Expo shall park 7 kilometers away from the heart of the Expo, and visitors have to enter Expo by subways or urban buses.
Therefore, concerned leaders from the Tourism Bureau, traffic departments and Zhejiang Heng Feng International Travel Company visited Shanghai and negotiated with BSWEC in selling Expo tickets, organizing tourists and bus lines, parking vehicles. Finally, they successfully acquired the “pass” for driving to the Expo.
