On July 16 to 17, Nosimo Balindlela, Premier of Eastern Cape Provincial Government of South Africa, led a delegation of 13 to Yiwu for official visit. Mr. He Meihua, Mayor of Yiwu, met the delegation. Accompanied by Li Xuhang, Vice Mayor of Yiwu, the guests visited International Trade Mart and Binwang Market.
He Meihua sincerely invited officials of Eastern Cape Provincial Government to be present on 2008 Yiwu Fair and China Yiwu (International) Forest Products Fair in October., and expressed his hope of seeing products from Eastern Cape on these fairs. Nosimo Balindlela said she would be glad to see more Chinese tourists and investors in Eastern Cape, and hoped to strengthen cooperation through her visit. (Tim)
