After completing the study tour in Suzhou and Wuxi of Jiangsu Province and Linyi of Shandong Province, on December 9 the Municipal Party and Government Delegation continued their journey to Tianjin for experience in urban construction, comprehensive supporting reform, major enterprise attraction and efficiency building, etc. After ending study in Tianjin, the delegation flew back to Yiwu at the night of December 11.
During the tour, Tianjin Municipal Government gave a high-profile reception. On December 10, Mayor Huang Xingguo, Deputy Secretary of Tianjin Municipal Party Committee, met and gave a banquet to the delegation. On December 11, Wang Shuzu, Deputy Director of Standing Committee of Tianjin Municipal People's Congress, attended the Farewell Luncheon held by Tianjin Municipal Government for our delegation. Li Peisheng, Deputy Secretary-General of Tianjin Municipal Government, and leaders from Tianjin Commission of Commerce and Office for Cooperation and Exchange Affairs accompanied all the way during the study tour in Tianjin.
As one of the four Municipalities directly under the Central Government, in the last few years, Tianjin has developed rapidly towards the goal of international port city, economic center of North China and eco-city, and achieved a great success. Their development is striking. Tianjin has accumulated many experience and approaches known as "Tianjin Development Experience". Especially in Tianjin Binhai New Area, the high standard strategic positioning and scientific planning, development experience at a level of the state strategy, rapid port industry construction and development as well as new conception and new approaches on development and operation can be a good example for us.
During the study tour, the delegation visited Airbus A320 (Tianjin) Final Assembly Company Limited, Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city, Tianjin International Trade and Shipping Service Center, Tianjin Port Wuzhou International Container Terminal, Yujiabao Financial Services Center, Lingang Industrial Area, Tianjin Planning Exhibition Hall, Tianjin Administrative Licensing Service Center, etc. Everywhere members of the delegation felt deeply shocked and excited. They thought that Tianjin leads the country in many development experience and approaches in urban planning and construction, the layout of urban functions, industrial development planning, efficiency building, which deserve our learning.
After rounding out of the tour in Jiangsu, Shandong and Tianjin, Huang Zhiping, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, accepted an exclusive press interview at Tianjin Airport. He said now Yiwu is at a crucial development period and the tour of the Municipal Party and Government Delegation is very significant at the time of carrying out policies of the Central Economic Working Conference. Through study tour in Suzhou, Wuxi, Linyi and Tianjin, we can see that every city has their own characteristics and all deserve our study. This study tour deeply impressed on us and gave us a good example by fostering urban economy, urban planning and construction management, industrial transformation and upgrading, leading local development, etc. After this tour we will seriously study and sort the experience out and make a plan for Yiwu's future development in line with the policies of the Central Economic Working Conference and the actual situation of Yiwu to make sure that Yiwu occupies a leading position in all aspects of working.
