Recently, according to the briefing on the activities for China Yiwu Cultural Products Trade Fair 2010, theme pavilions will be new attractions at the fair and are in preparation.
Set in Hall B1, with a total exhibition area of over 7,000m2, the theme pavilions, which include five sectors-lobby, hall of industrial arts, hall of creative animation and comic, hall of audio & video products and books and hall of digital network, will demonstrate the quintessence of the fair.
According to the source, the lobby will use texts and pictures to demonstrate and a combination of large screens and light boxes to represent the development achievements of the cultural industry in the country and all provinces and municipalities, the important remarks of state leaders on the development of the industry and the latest cultural industry policies; the hall of industrial arts will bring together cultural products like ceramics, carvings, frames, high-emulation paintings, gold & silver & bronze wares and the “four treasures of study”; the hall of creative animation and comic will mainly show creative animation & comic products and derivatives; the hall of audio & video products and books will display the latest film & TV productions, books, etc.; the hall of digital communication will involve online games, digital culture, etc., attract some Internet giants and interact with visitors.
There will be diverse cultural activities during the fair, and the relevant departments and units are speeding up preparations. According to the undertaking departments and units, they were making elaborate preparations for activities like Xiuhu Square Culture Week, the art show at the opening ceremony, Yiwu Folk Arts Exhibition, Yiwu Folk Calligraphy & Painting Exhibition, Asia-Pacific Forum as well as the performance of the Japanese art ensemble, the cultural demonstration of ancient Fotang Town and dinosaur demonstration, and CCTV’s Treasure Hunt program will also land Yiwu and Yiwu Fair to feast visitors’ eyes.
