Against the backdrop that there are more and more psychological diseases and the public has stronger and stronger demands for psychological aid, Yiwu City officially put the first free psychological health hotline (hotline number: 85255444) into service recently. It is learned that the psychological health hotline, which was jointly sponsored by Yiwu Municipal Committee of Communist Youth League and Yiwu Municipal Bureau of Health and co-sponsored by Yiwu Municipal Mental Health Center, has set up dedicated office at the Municipal Mental Health Center, and it is also equipped with professional equipments and work software in light of relevant requirements. By now, the Psychological Health Hotline is scheduled to run at 8:00-11:00 o’clock and 13:30-16:30 o’clock every day (exclusive of legal holidays), and the first batch of phone operators consist of doctors, nurses, and psychological counselors who specialize in clinical psychology at the Municipal Mental Health Center. Later, the Psychological Health Hotline will constantly provoke other psychological counselors and social workers to partake in the hotline services.
