From Dec.9 to 11, the Second Yiwu Labor Protection Products Fair was held in Yiwu International Expo Center. In three days, it attracted more than 2,300 purchasing agents, more than 90% of whom being foreign buyers. We were informed that this fair was among the five top fairs of the same kind.
The fair organized more than 160 attending enterprises, and set up nearly 180 pavilions. Attending enterprises came from all parts of China, and foreign countries like the United States, Germany, Korea, Japan, etc., exhibiting all kinds of industrial and personal protection products, mostly work gloves, safety shoes, masks, self-protection equipment, constructions safety appliances, and so on. It is described that, at present there are nearly 20 fairs of the same kind all over the country, but the scale of which is generally less than 100 pavilions. Moreover, it is reported that more than 130 enterprises attended the Labor Protection Products Fair to exhibit their products last year, with nearly 3,000 purchasing agents attending.
In this fair, 90% of the products were provided for export, most of which had passed CE Quality System Certification of EU. The fair hall assembled more than 30 products of Chinese well-known trademarks as well as international brands such as "3M" protective articles from U.S., "Bacou" labor protection shoes from Germany, "Sysbel" industrial protective appliances from Korea, "kawasaki" safety protection belts from Japan, and so on. These highly specialized products are also of high grade.
