Now Yiwu electronic commerce development environment has changed greatly and many online merchants have met different difficulties. For example, due to the characteristic of online market’s fast transmission, homogenization problem is gradually more and more serious and price competition is stiff; “Mixed wholesale” operation line faces challenge and business growth obviously slows down over the previous years; the labor elements like talent, capital and plant room are scarce which shocks merchants heavily; electronic commerce after-sales experience retrogresses and “Low Price” strategy causes low service quality and makes customer resources away.
Facing the difficulties, Yiwu online merchants don’t sit around. Some online merchants improve operation ideas: on the basis of the original “Mixed wholesale”, mainly promote “Competitive Products” strategy, focus on product quality, innovate product performance, consider from the details, do specially and precisely. Some online merchants give up “Price War” strategy; start “Brand War”; create quality stores; focus on promoting own brands; pay much attention to “Word-of-mouth Marketing”. And some online merchants start from raising service quality, stabilize customer resources, value service experience. In addition, creating enterprise culture, emphasizing employee’s relationship cultivation, offering them humanity care and keeping talents are paid much attention to by all the online merchants.
In the seminar, Director Cao Lei of China Electronic Commerce Research Center came up with “Ten Questions” of Yiwu traditional enterprises involving electronic commerce to all online merchants; the “Ten Questions” were thought-provoking. He specifically explained “Twelve Five” plan of Zhejiang Electronic Commerce Industry from all aspects of key engineering, safeguard measures, declaring projects, etc and described “Twelve Five” development blueprint of Zhejiang Electronic Commerce Industry.
