August 31，after discharge from the Central Hospital of Yiwu，South Korean businessmen JEONCHAN GMAN received 3，842 yuan accident insurance from China YIWU Life Insurance Company . This is the first document claims since Yiwu provide foreign businessmen personal accident insurance.
It was learned that in order to protect the personal safety of 300，000 foreign traders in Yiwu，Yiwu China Commodities City (CCC) Group paid 1 . 31 million yuan to China Life Insurance Company Yiwu Branch for the personal accident insurance with a sum insured of 200，000 yuan as well as the personal accident medical insurance with a sum insured of 20，000 yuan for every foreign trader in Yiwu.The insurance covers all foreign traders who are doing business legally in Yiwu . This is a new innovative insurance project carried out by Zhejiang Bureau of China Insurance Regulatory Commission and Yiwu municipal government，which makes the city the first insurancebacked demonstration area for economic transformation and upgrading in Zhejiang Province . Some staff members of China Life Insurance Company Yiwu Branch，along with the policemen of Choucheng Police Station，distributed brochures of “Insurance Guide for Foreign Traders”printed in Chinese，English，Arabic and Korean in the Exotic Street and other rendezvous of foreign businessmen .
