For the convenience of the masses to complain and report problems presented in the construction work of office work style and efficiency in the whole city, the office of the leading group for Yiwu’s theme activity to “Create Innovations and Excellence, Improve Quality and Efficiency” arranged several approaches (by phone and fax, network, letter, on-site visit) to receive suggestions, complaints and reports from the masses.

The staff of Provincial Tourism Bureau led by Xu Peng, the Deputy Director of Provincial Tourism Bureau and Xiao Ge, the Deputy Inspector came to our city recently to learn about work of the organizing committee office of the 2nd China International Tourist Commodities Exhibition. As part of the all-around preparations for the exhibition, they discussed about making and perfecting master plan and preferential policies for inviting businessmen and exhibitors, and determined the exhibition scale and time.

Accompanied by He Meihua (the Mayor) and Wang Kuiming (the Deputy Mayor), Xu Jiping, Li Liangfu who are Deputy Directors of Provincial Transportation Department and Qian Ligao, Deputy Director of Provincial High Way Bureau recently came to Zhengyi toll station on 03 provincial road with the staff from Provincial Transportation Department and Levy Office, Accounting Office of Provincial High Way Bureau, so as to examine and direct the municipal cancellation work of secondary roads for which the government repays the loan.

 Currently, Yiwu is in its critical stages to recover, transit and grasp new development opportunities after the financial crisis. Whether Yiwu can realize a new wave of leap-forward development in the new year and a certain period in the future depends on our ability to grasp opportunities and create new advantages....

  The annual National Science and Technology Award Conference has recently been held in Beijing. Honored for the first time in 1999, Yiwu’s scientific and technological achievements as well as innovations have been highly appreciated once again, marking the fifth consecutive year of winning the title of “National Advanced City with Scientific and Technological Achievements”.

The recently-held the Seventh Plenary Meeting of the Twelfth Yiwu Municipal Committee (Expansion) made an objective review of achievements in 2009 and made a scientific analysis of current situation. Meanwhile, it explicitly put forward overall requirements, objectives, tasks and important initiatives for the work of Yiwu this year and later, which would serve as a guide to a new round of development of Yiwu.

On January 28, Onccc visited Yiwu Wangma International Wine Firm in Yiwu wine market and knew that the Wangma wines are becoming the new favorites in the new year market. As the chair person of Wangma told, "Nowadays, wine are more widely spread both in daily lives and celebrations." As the new year of 2010 is coming, more and more customers choose Wangma wine as gifts for relatives and friends.

The Seventh Plenary Session of the Twelfth Municipal Party Committee has determined that “Creating innovation and excellence to improve quality and efficiency” will be the work focus for the city this year as well as the upcoming period. Well implementation of this focus will effectively push forward the new progress of development of our city.

Recently, Huang Zhiping, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee of Jinhua and the Municipal Party Secretary of Yiwu, made a work report at the plenary session on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee; at the session, he advocated the whole city to “create excellence and innovation, improve quality and efficiency, strive to carry forward the two reforms and establish new advantages for the development of Yiwu”, so as to push forward the new round of development of Yiwu and ensure her leading position.
